Owner: Asuma Lacrima
Techniques:
-Playing the Strings: Simply put this technique allows the manipuplation of the threads shed by the robe and/or spools.
-Tapestry of the Aegis: The strings quickly weave together forming a shield that can take on different shapes and sizes depending on the amount of string used. Not many attacks can break through this shield though the strings can not hold together for extended periods of time. Blocking attacks with this technique uses reiatsu of the caster.
- Spoiler:
3) Tapestry of the Calm: Asuma’s robe lets loose a mass quantity of thread which scatters in a light breeze around the battlefield. These strings have multiple purposes, mainly preparing for more devastating attacks. Asuma can send these strings into an ally’s body restoring small amounts of reiatsu.
4) Tapestry of the Savior: Strings mass around a fallen ally and form into a cacoon, which then levitates itself into an area away from combat. During this technique Asuma is weakened and unable to use other techniques, though he can still defend himself with his blade.
5) Tapestry of Winter’s Chill: *Requires Tapestry of Calm* Threads rise up and mass together forming a blizzard of snow white string. The thread weaves its way through the air at high speeds lashing out at oppenents. Any string that makes contact with a foe drains a small amount of reiatsu which becomes a new thread on Asuma’s robe.
6) Tapestry of the Blind Seamstress- Threads from Asuma robe snake into an open wound and pull it shut. The thread then dissolves into a reiatsu based “glue” which seals the wound and prevents it from reopening even under the influence of a blade. This is not restricted to only Asuma’s wounds. The seal which closes the wound is made up of a highly concentrated amount of reiatsu and thus the technique must be used sparingly and only in dire circumstances.
7) Tapestry of a Lost Love- Asuma sacrifices half of his robe (equal to a large amount of reiatsu depending on how much Asuma focused into the robe and how much is left of said robe). The sacrificed amount of reiatsu acts as catalyst for an ally giving them the temporary feeling of invincibility, along with increased strength, speed, and reiatsu (this effect lasts three of the enraged ally’s posts). Wounds taken during the enrage only cause half of their normal damage, which is not felt until the technique fades. When it fades the target feels as though he/she was struck by any blow received all in one moment. ~Cannot be used ON Asuma~
