He was constantly made fun of bullied intell one day the bullieing got to far. The bullie kicked him in the back of the head and he landed in the concerete, Shattering his skull and killing him. The man was punished later on by his spirit by death but he became a shinigami when another shinigami saw his sorrow and longing for life.
