Sai chuckled to himself at Kiara's statement. Indeed he knew a lot about women. Back in his day, he was a women charmer so to say. He was very well liked and many people wanted to be around him, but he just loved making people laugh.

"Yes you can say that." Sai said. "Talking to women is one of my favorite past times, right next to talking in general." Sai said, taking a moment to drink some more tea. "Especially beautiful women." Sai said with a low chuckle, looking at Kiara with the same smile as before.

Kiara giggled herself, what a guy, he was talkative, so was she. She was known for being the social butterfly of the Sereitei. She smiled, " well who would want to talk to ugly ones? I mean, I enjoy talking to handsome men than I do not-so-handsome ones" she said. She sipped her tea some more.

" well, then Mr. Talks-a-lot, one of my favorite hobbies is to talk, " she joked, " maybe we can be a team! The dynamic duo!" she said and put her fist out like a superhero. She giggled to herself.

Sai chuckled to himself listening to Kiara. She had a nice sense of humor, which was always respectable in most cases. Knowing how to laugh and taking a good laugh was always a good thing to do.

"Well, if your drunk then the not-so-beautiful women turns into the most gorgeous one on Earth. I'm sure it works both ways." Sai said with a smile as he took another sip of the delicious warm tea. It was actually his favorite flavor.

"Yea, we could wreak havoc with our super talking abilities!" Sai said with a genuine smile.

"Ya know, I love moments like these. When the sun is out and two buddies are hanging out, laughing and it's a beautiful day." Sai said with a gentle smile.

Kiara chuckled at his comment before looking over at Sai, when he smiled and said he loved moments were friends were hanging out on a nice day. " or there's the times were you just find a lovely person inside and out..." she blurted and covered her mouth and turned her head away.

Kiara's life was all about control, she controlled her subordinates, the captain commander controlled her, but when she couldn't control her own actions she became throughly embarrassed. She hid her face so the blush would go away, and when the heat in her cheeks left she drank some of the tea, to keep herself from saying something stupid again.

The statement Kiara said caught Sai off guard. He had a slight blush on his face. It was rare that he rarely lost his cool around women. With a low cough, he made a soft smile again. It seemed that smiling was all that he could do, since it was his specialty.

"Thanks, your a lovely person too." Sai said, taking another sip of his tea. He found himself getting increasingly nervous. Suddenly, he felt the air get hotter for some reason. He recognized the feeling before, but didn't think much of it. he nervously took another sip of his tea, but the feeling still wouldn't go away.

Kiara suddenly got all nervous and then angry at herself. She was rarely this emotional, she looked over at Sai and smiled, " you so blushed!" she joked " I thought you were good with women!" she joked and punched his shoulder playfully.

She looked back to the clear sky and giggled, she didn't notice the air getting hotter, she just finished off her tea and looked back to Sai, " sorry if I made you nervous..." she paused, getting more nervous than she was before. " I-I normally d-don't say stuff l-like that..." she said and turned away to hide the blush again.

"No I didn't!" Sai said jokingly, drinking some more of the tea. By this time, the tea wasn't as warm as before, so now it's real flavor was more direct on his tongue.

"I am good with women! I.......sometimes it's different." Sai said with a faint blush on his cheeks.

"I normally don't get nervous like this. But, I guess when you feel so comfortable, then your true feelings come out, that's why I don't want this moment to end." Sai said with a gentle smile, finishing off the rest of the tea. He looked into the sky, almost as if that's where he was getting his words from, but really he was just remembering his past. He didn't mention having a wife and leaving them behind when he entered Soul Society, that was just something that was more hurtful than anything to him.

Kiara looked at him a smirk on her face, despite her cold exterior and formal actions, she was quite the charmer herself. She looked away, when he tried to explain it she looked to the sky then she looked back over, " differ-" she stopped then looked away again.

She smiled, when he finished she blinked. " your not falling for me are you?" she asked, her voice full of smug surprise. She giggled and turned her head away, looking at the sky. A smile spread across her face. The boy she was talking about earlier had just happened to be one she loved, and loved her back, when he didn't make it back, she was devastated, unable to get over it. But after the 300 some years, she learned that he wouldn't have wanted her to live by herself...

"Falling for you? No! Maybe! I guess?" Sai said with a blush on his face. He couldn't give her a straight answer. He wasn't strong enough to do that, despite the calm and tough exterior he might have exhibited.

"When I was a human, I had a wife and a son. My wife was a very sweet and kind women." Sai said, looking in the sky as if he was trying to find her spirit.

"She acted a lot like you, and I see he in you a little. Well, a lot. But, when I died, I realized that I put my son through the same thing I went through, I felt like I let him down. I didn't want to, but, it seemed that I messed up, and I know that I could never make it right again." Sai said, a small tear ran down his cheek, but he still managed to smile through it.

"But, I guess I should take my own advice and look toward the future, she would want me to be happy, even if it wasn't with her." Sai said.

Kiara giggled when he didn't give her a straight answer. She then looked at him with surprised when he said she reminded him of the wife he had in his past life. She looked down when he talked about leaving his son behind. She didn't want to be the girl that made Sai think of the sad parts of his life. She looked back at him and leaned over, wiped the tear from his cheek and then leaned back against the wall.

" like Masamoto, he wouldn't have wanted me to look toward the future, He was the boy I was talking about... the one who didn't come back... he was more than a close friend..." she said and saw he was still smiling. She frowned her eyes watering and tears poured down her face. She didn't know how he could keep smiling. She put her head in her lap and sobbed, it had been 298 years since she had cried like this. she had been counting the days that Masamoto wasn't there, each day she never cried.

Sai felt a little bit more comfortable when Kiara wiped the tear from his face, he was also slightly embarrassed since he didn't even feel it. It really caught him by surprise, but he was able to keep his smile.

Sai saw the tears stream down Kiara's face. She was a very strong woman indeed. She held it all in for such a long time. Sai reached into his robe in his front pocket and brought out a nice smooth all white napkin. He started to wipe Kiara's face softly, talking to her while he was doing it.

"It's alright. You can let it all out now. I'm sure if the people we loved had a chance to say anything to us, it would be something "be happy" or "stay alive."" Sai said with his usual smile.

"It takes more muscles to frown than to smile, about double actually. So, smiling does more than increase your outlook, but energy as well." Sai said.

Kiara looked up at him, just hearing him so happy made her want to cry even more. " your such a moron..." she joked and smiled as best as she could, but she still looked sad. He never stopped smiling.

Ugh, she couldn't tale this! She cried even harder and found herself hugging Sai tightly and crying into his chest like a child. She didn't care how awkward it was, she just needed somebody, and Sai just happened to be there at the time. How could one smile make her feel so horrible?

Sai chuckled to himself when Kiara called him a moron. He knew she was just playing, but it seemed kind of strange to him that she could only bring herself to crying. Sai hugged her back tightly for a moment. He then put both hands gently beside her head and tilted her head up to look at him, he had a serious expression on his face.

"Come on, Kiara. Smile. I know it'll hurt for awhile, and soon you'll probably think that your smiling for no reason and it's just a front, but after awhile, it'll all sink in. So smile. Just once." Sai said as his serious expression quickly turned to a smile, hoping Kiara would catch on and smile like Sai did.

"With what you've been through, I'm sure you can't help but smile sometimes." Sai said.

Kiara looked up, both surprised and happy. The saw his smile and couldn't help but look at him like he was crazy, but she laughed though tears..." your silly!"

... but she smiled, using one hand to wipe her face. She shook her head and still laughed softly, " your smile is like some sort of illness, it's contagious!" she said through laughter, " It's annoying how your smile can make me sad and happy at the same time!"

Sai chuckled to himself at what Kiara said. It was all a matter of experience really. The more you smile, it easier it is, and the more other people will smile. It's a simple theory, but it has been proven.

"If you keep smiling, eventually, it will become easier. Plus the reactions on people's faces are priceless!" Sai said, he started to laugh out loud jokingly to Kiara, he really felt like he was connecting with her, and now, he felt like he was really with his wife for some odd reason, but it didn't bring up sad memories, he remembered the happy moments.

"I'm glad your smiling though. It really makes me enjoy our time together." Sai said.
